WAYWE Late Auditions

LATE AUDITIONS

The 2007-08 Waco Area Youth Wind Ensemble has a few remaining openings for the season. If you were unable to attend auditions but would still like to try out, please carefully read the information below.

Current Vacancies:

~~Trumpet~~ (position filled 9/17)

~~Clarinet~~ (position filled 9/19)

Contact Dr. Harris by phone or email to schedule an audition.
Auditions may be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons between 3:30pm to 5:15pm.
Auditions will be in the Ball Performing Arts Center at McLennan Community College.
Everyone must play the required audition material which is posted on this website.
Sightreading may be required.
Bring the completed Musician's Agreement with you to the audition.
Vacancies will be filled with the first qualified auditionee. Please schedule your audition as early and as soon as possible. As each vacancy is filled, it will be crossed off the above list.
Auditions which occur later than 1 rehearsal into the fall season may be for the spring season.

NOTE: WAYWE is committed to providing performance opportunities for serious and dedicated musicians only. Participation in WAYWE is not encouraged for players who do not practice outside of rehearsal or who miss rehearsals/concerts.
