DEADLINES FOR 2011-2012

Housing for Faculty

• December 1, 2011 - postmark deadline for submitting TCCBDA Form 3
• January 20, 2012 - last day for members to cancel room reservations through TCCBDA.
• January 27, 2012 - last day for members to guarantee hotel room reservations (for faculty and students) with personal/institutional credit card.
• February ?, 2012– Members contact hotel (not TCCBDA or TMEA) to cancel a guaranteed reservation. After this date, the hotel charges one night penalty for cancellations/no-shows of guaranteed rooms (this date set by TMEA; please refer to their website for changes)

Symphonic Band

• October 28, 2011- postmark deadline for submitting Symphonic Band audition materials (audition tapes/CDs, TCCBDA Form 1, and TMEA proof)
• November 4, 2011 - postmark deadline for submitting payment of audition fees
• November 21, 2011 - audition results distributed to membership via email
• December 12, 2011 - seating audition music mailed to participating schools; concert repertoire posted on website
• December 30, 2011 - Deadline to register All State students for TMEA by mail using checks
• January 13, 2012 – Deadline to register All State students for TMEA online
• January 25, 2012 - postmark deadline for submitting Form 4 with TCCBDA fee payment.
• February 8, 2012 - seating auditions (in San Antonio)
• February 11, 2012 - All-State Symphonic Band performance (in San Antonio)

* If a school is submitting audition materials for Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble, the Symphonic Band fees may be sent with the Jazz Ensemble fee payment.

Jazz Ensemble

• November 4, 2011 - postmark deadline for submitting Jazz Ensemble audition materials(audition tapes/CDs, TCCBDA Form 2, fee payment, and TMEA proof)
• November 21, 2011 - audition results distributed to membership via email
• December 30, 2011 - Deadline to register All State students for TMEA by mail using checks
• January 9, 2012 - music selections mailed to participating schools
• January 13, 2012 – Deadline to register All State students for TMEA online
• January 25, 2012 - postmark deadline for submitting Form 4 with TCCBDA fee payment.
• February 11, 2012 - All-State Jazz Ensemble performance (in San Antonio)

Concerto Competition

• November 4, 2011 - postmark deadline for submitting Concerto Competition audition materials (audition tape/CD, TCCBDA Form 5, music copy)
• November 21, 2011 - audition results distributed to membership via email
• February 11, 2012 - Soloist performance with All-State Symphonic Band (in San Antonio)
