The Texas Community College Band Directors All-State Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensembles will present their annual concerts on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, in conjunction with the annual clinic/convention of the Texas Music Educators Association.

Talented community college students from all over the state of Texas, including your college, were selected through audition last fall for membership in the bands. While in San Antonio, they will participate in rehearsals with their clinicians, culminating in the concerts on Saturday, as well as being afforded the opportunity to attend one of the largest and most comprehensive music education clinic/conventions in the country.

The conductor for the All-State Symphonic Band is Dr. J. Eric Wilson, Baylor University. The All-State Jazz Band clinician is Curt Wilson, Texas Christian University.

Your college students selected to participate in the All-State Symphonic Band include name, classification, hometown, major. Your college students participating in the All-State Jazz Band include name, classification, hometown, major.
